Empowering Farmers Through Mango Cultivation & Post-Harvest Training
Organized a training workshop on mango cultivation and post-harvest best practices at Patra Pada, Chendipada Block, Angul, engaging 33 farmers from five Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs). Farmers received practical training on cultivation, pest management, value addition, and post-harvest handling. The initiative strengthened farmers’ market readiness, improved post-harvest management skills, and created opportunities to access wider markets beyond Odisha.

Promoting Soil Health & Sustainable Agriculture
As part of its commitment towards environmental sustainability and community development, the initiative promoted soil health awareness and sustainable farming practices among farmers. Through expert-led workshops, nearly 553 farmers gained knowledge on soil health management, balanced fertilizer usage, and cost-effective cultivation methods. The program encouraged sustainable agriculture, improved productivity, reduced input costs, and strengthened farmers’ livelihoods while supporting broader ESG and SDG.

Natural Farming Practices
At Satyabadi, Puri, efforts are being made to promote natural farming as a sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practice. By encouraging the use of natural inputs and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, the initiative aims to improve soil health, conserve water, protect biodiversity, and ensure healthier food production while enhancing farmers’ livelihoods and environmental sustainability.
